PRIVACY TERMS

By visiting our site, you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in our Privacy and Cookies Policies.

COLLECTING INFORMATION & CONTACTING YOU

Should you either subscribe to the newsletter, or make a purchase with us, we will occasionally update you with product details and special offers via e-mail, post and/or telephone.  All recipients of Sondah communications have the ability to opt-out of receiving communications clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in any email communication that we have sent you.

WHEN WE WILL USE YOUR INFORMATION

In line with our policies we will not disclose customer information to third parties except in cases where a service we provide requires such details (e.g. arranging a customer delivery).  Furthermore, we will not sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any third party (excluding partners that may have linked to our site) without your permission.

COOKIE POLICY

A cookie is a small file with information about your movements within a website that is sent to and stored on your computer’s hard drive. When you register with us, a cookie with your email address will be stored on your computer to save you time when you next visit Sondah. To prevent cookies being stored on your computer without your pre-approval, you can change the settings on your web browser.  You will still be able to shop on Sondah without allowing a Sondah cookie to be stored on your computer.

Squarespace and our other service providers may use cookies (both session cookies and persistent cookies) to analyze trends, administer our Site, track your movements around our Site, better understand how you interact with our Site, determine interest in particular content and monitor aggregate usage by visitors and online traffic routing. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual and aggregated basis. You may also remove persistent cookies by following your web browser’s help file directions. Squarespace and our other service providers may also use “pixel tags,” “web beacons,” “clear GIFs,” or similar means in connection with our Site and HTML-formatted e-mail messages to, among other things, track the actions of users, to determine the success of marketing campaigns and to compile aggregate statistics about Site usage and response rates. This information is collected anonymously, in a manner that does not personally identify you.

SQUARESPACE

Our Site is hosted by Squarespace. Personal Information (as defined below) hosted by or through Squarespace is subject to their privacy policy which may or may not contain terms as protective as this Privacy Policy. By using our Site, you are agreeing to be bound by Squarespace’s privacy policy, which can be found at https://www.squarespace.com/privacy.

Squarespace uses analytics tools to help us measure traffic and usage trends for our Site. These tools collect information sent by your browser as part of a web page request, including the web pages you visit, your browser add-ons, and other information that assists us in improving our Site. We may collect and use this analytics information together with your Personal Information and stitch together session data from user visits to build a broader profile of our individual users so that we can serve you better.

Squarespace processes Personal Information in the United States of America. You should be aware that the United States and other countries have not harmonised their privacy regulations. Because Sondah is located in the United Kingdom, we have written our Privacy Policy to satisfy United Kingdom regulations. By using our Services or providing us with Your Information, you explicitly (i) acknowledge and agree that Your Personal Information may be transferred to, and used by, entities located outside of your town, county, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction, and (ii) consent to the collection, transfer, storage and processing of your Information to and in the United Kingdom and United States and the use and disclosure of Your Information as described in this Privacy Policy.
